Al-Khobar 3rd March 2016: Al-Bilad Arabia Company Limited (ABA), the largest local partner for SAP in KSA, has announced that Power and Water Utility Company for Jubail and Yanbu “MARAFIQ” has awarded ABA the “MASA SAP Integration Project” . The contract was signed on Sunday 28th February 2016 at MARAFIQ’s head office in Jubail.
MASA is a JV between “MARAFIQ” and the French water utility company “SAUR”, responsible for the Operations & Maintenance of specific infrastructure elements of MARAFIQ in Jubail & Yanbu
The main objectives of this project are:
· improve asset control and reliability
· improve availability and quality
· optimize the O&M workforce
· enhance reporting and analysis of field events
The main scope of this project is the integration of the new SAP functionalities for Workforce Management and Material Resource Scheduling, Metering Points, Business Intelligence, Linear Asset Management, Mobility (Work Order Management & Rounds Manager), as well as the interface with SCADA and GIS.
